Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Flexible during business hours (Eastern Time North Carolina)
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Step into a pivotal role as an Administrative Assistant the operational backbone of a thriving trucking operation. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely on logistics coordination driver communication and load management. Youll be instrumental in ensuring the daily operations run smoothly from managing critical communications and booking loads to organizing paperwork and supporting the team s overall success.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily email communications and general correspondence for business operations

  • Coordinate schedule and book loads to ensure optimal efficiency

  • Process organize and maintain documentation for trucking and logistics operations

  • Maintain constant and clear communication with drivers to ensure smooth delivery timelines

  • Support administrative tasks to ensure seamless business operations

  • Keep records organized and documentation up to date and easily accessible


Requirements
  • Proven experience in email management and communication tools

  • Familiarity with logistics software and load booking systems

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle unforeseen challenges

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Negotiation experience with vendors clients or partners

  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setup

  • Availability to work full-time aligned with Eastern Time Zone business hours
