Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Deliver engaging well-planned lessons in accordance with the schools curriculum and confirmed unit plans
Ensure differentiated instruction meets the needs and abilities of all students
Foster student learning through a range of instructional strategies including inquiry-based learning student-led activities and project-based learning
Maintain detailed and timely lesson planning and collaborate with Heads of Department
Assessment & Reporting
Implement school-approved assessment strategies and maintain accurate records
Provide clear constructive feedback on student progress
Develop and administer unit tests and summative assessments
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and provide regular student progress reports
Classroom Management & Student Welfare
Serve as a form teacher: monitor student attendance enforce dress code and oversee daily homeroom and dismissal procedures
Foster a safe inclusive and supportive classroom culture
Support the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) program
Address behavioural issues promptly and professionally following school procedures
Professional Conduct & Development
Attend staff meetings school events and professional development workshops
Stay current with educational best practices and SIS Group initiatives
Contribute actively to the wider school community and events
Parent & Community Engagement
Maintain open respectful and productive communication with parents via Class Dojo Google Classroom or Communication Notebooks
Be available for meetings and follow-up on parental concerns in a timely manner
School Events & Learning Journeys
Plan support and attend field trips school events and inter-disciplinary projects throughout the academic year
Salary & Benefits Package
Monthly Salary: USD 2500 (tax-free)
Contract Completion Bonus: Equivalent to one months salary
Flight Allowance: USD 1000 provided three times during the contract
Housing Allowance: USD 400 per month (suitable for renting at Star City )
Daily Transport: Free staff bus service between Star City and school
Health Insurance: Local health insurance provided
Dependent Benefits: Free tuition for staff children
Paid Leave: Paid school holidays (winter summer and public holidays)
