The school delivers the Cambridge curriculum from Early Years through to A-Levels and places a strong emphasis on creativity inclusion and student-led learning.

The Art Teacher will be responsible for delivering the Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design curriculum supporting students in exploring a range of artistic techniques and developing their portfolios. You will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design syllabus
Guide students in both traditional and contemporary media including drawing painting sculpture and digital art
Support students in developing their coursework portfolios and preparing for final assessments
Encourage independent thinking creativity and critical evaluation
Manage resources and maintain a well-organised and inspiring art studio environment
Track and report on student progress providing regular feedback
Participate in art exhibitions displays and school-wide cultural events
Collaborate with colleagues and attend staff training meetings and school events
Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing
Essential
A bachelor s degree in Fine Art Art Education or a closely related field
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS Diploma in Teaching)
Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience
Strong knowledge and experience of the Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design curriculum
Confident in a range of artistic media and techniques
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
Commitment to inclusive student-centred learning
Strong organisational and classroom management skills
Understanding of child safeguarding responsibilities
Desirable
Experience preparing students for A-Level Art & Design (Cambridge or similar)
Previous international or bilingual school experience
Familiarity with supporting EAL learners
Interest in leading or contributing to extracurricular activities exhibitions or creative clubs
