The school follows the Cambridge curriculum from Early Years through to A-Levels and places a strong emphasis on inclusive high-quality teaching and learning.

The Year 6 Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for leading a class of students in their final year of primary education. This role combines academic instruction across core subjects with responsibility for the personal and social development of students. You will:
Deliver engaging lessons across English Maths Science and other core subjects
Plan and differentiate lessons in line with Cambridge Primary curriculum objectives
Track student progress through regular assessment and maintain accurate records.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages independence and confidence
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on progress wellbeing and classroom activity
Support students in preparing for the transition to secondary education
Contribute to school events extracurricular activities and community engagement
Participate in staff training meetings and ongoing professional development
Uphold school safeguarding and wellbeing policies
Essential
Bachelor s degree in Education or a related subject
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS Diploma in Teaching)
Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience
Strong knowledge and experience of the Cambridge Primary curriculum
Fluent spoken and written English
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to inclusive child-centred teaching
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
Desirable
Experience teaching in international or bilingual schools
Familiarity with teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners
Experience preparing students for transition into secondary school
Willingness to contribute to the wider school life beyond the classroom
