The school delivers the Cambridge curriculum from Early Years through to A-Levels and focuses on nurturing children s development through play-based student-centred learning.

The Early Years Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering an engaging developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports all areas of learning and development in the Foundation Stage. Key duties include:
Delivering the Cambridge Early Years curriculum through play-based and structured activities
Creating a safe inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Observing assessing and recording children s progress to inform planning
Supporting children s social emotional physical and cognitive development
Building positive relationships with children parents and colleagues
Collaborating with the early years team to plan and evaluate learning programmes
Communicating regularly with parents about their child s development and wellbeing
Following safeguarding policies and promoting a culture of care and respect
Essential
Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education Primary Education or a related field
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS Diploma in Teaching)
Minimum 2 years teaching experience in Early Years or Foundation Stage settings
Strong knowledge and experience of the Cambridge Early Years curriculum
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
Passion for child-centred play-based learning
Ability to build positive relationships with young children and families
Good organisational and classroom management skills
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
Desirable
Experience working in international or bilingual school settings
Familiarity supporting EAL learners
Willingness to contribute to wider school life and extracurricular activities
Full Time
