So what will the role of Account Manager entail
Reporting to the UK PCI Sales Manager your goal as an Account Manager will be to clearly identify customer requirements and assist in providing innovative and cost-effective solutions. This role will provide variety as you will be required to visit customers around the North East & Cumbria Region. A professional and responsive approach is needed to gain credibility through integrity and technical knowledge. Your duties will include although not be limited to:
Create an annual sales plan (order intake/sales revenue and margin targets) in line with the Regional and Business Units plans for the financial year.
Monitor and increase order intake/sales revenue with respect to expected monthly/seasonal expectations.
Accurate forecasting of the business in terms of timing and chance of success.
Manage and maintain relationships with customers to achieve an expanded customer base and assure customer satisfaction.
Prepare and carry out presentations and demonstrations including participation at conferences and exhibitions on the range of Yokogawa PCI equipment.
Maintain market awareness and market intelligence ensuring feedback to sales marketing and management colleagues.
To be considered for this Account Manager role youll have the following experience qualifications skills knowledge and attributes;
Proven experience within a similar role within the automation industry
Formal technical education in a related subject (diploma or degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as electronics engineering)
Understanding of ISO 9001 and Health and Safety at Work Act
Ability to work with minimal supervision whilst being an effective team player as part of a structured team.
Confident communicator with a professional manner and the ability to absorb and impart factual information to others and work within standard operating procedures.
A positive self-starter with drive to achieve results whilst fully embracing Yokogawa core values.
Willingness to learn and expand skills knowledge.
Full driving licence
Experience of CRM systems and SAP would be an advantage.

Salary: Level dependent on experience
Attractive benefits: Incentive scheme company car allowance pension with up to 12.5% company contribution healthcare benefits package 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with increments based on length of service.
Contract type: Permanent.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet customer and business needs.
Location: Whilst this position is home based you will be required to travel to customer sites around North East & Cumbria region and to other Yokogawa offices in the UK and Europe for meetings as required.
