Core Responsibilities

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture transformation
  • Develop and implement competency management programs for career growth and succession planning
  • Guide and support management across all HR topics including talent management performance compensation and employee engagement
  • Handle day-to-day HR activities including recruitment performance reviews and training coordination
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with HR support team
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment to retention
  • Play a key role in Works Council (OR) and Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW)
  • Ensure full compliance with Belgian labor law and maintain constructive union relationships
  • Manage complex labor relations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support expansion and transformation initiatives across European markets
  • Coordinate with international teams and ensure local actions align with global strategy
  • Lead and execute global and European HR projects ensuring alignment with corporate timelines


Requirements

Required Experience

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field
  • Belgian labor law expertise and proven union relationship management
  • 8 years as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
  • International matrix organization experience strongly preferred
  • Dutch and English: Fluent/Advanced level (mandatory)
  • Other European languages will be advantageous
