Business & IT Apprentice
16500 Per Annum
Location: Milton Keynes MK1 1SW
Swarm Recruitment is excited to partner with Prevision Research a leading data collection company to find a passionate Business & IT Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong interest in IT to learn and grow within a supportive family-oriented business. A Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship will be provided alongside this position.
About Prevision Research
Prevision Research specialises in data collection for market research operating a busy telephone centre and conducting online and telephone surveys. Prevision Research provides a highly specialised and bespoke customer feedback service. Clients include small and medium-sized research agencies independent consultants marketing and advertising agencies and large corporations.
Their purpose is to provide clients with top-quality data delivered on time and on budget. They are committed to providing a friendly and professional service on every project.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadowing the Operations Director and assisting with day-to-day IT tasks
- Assisting the call centre manager and supervisors with sample delivery and quota control
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for interviewers including equipment and computer problems
- Learning to specify and program questionnaires for online and telephone surveys
- Monitoring the interviewing process to ensure smooth operation and address any emergencies
- Completing quality checks on data and arranging for coding of open ends.
- Participating in the amalgamation of data collected from questionnaires
- Learning to create data outputs for client delivery (both raw data and tabulations)
- Assisting with keeping ISO paperwork up to date monitoring audit results and assisting with implementing change
- Contributing to the development and improvement of the companys internal platform (using web coding such as HTML CSS JavaScript PHP & Mysql)
- Maintain the companys client database keep it up to date and source new leads

Working Week
Core working hours will be 37.5 hours per week 9am 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility.
Desired Qualities
- A genuine passion for IT and technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to fit into a lively sometimes noisy office environment
- Honesty and integrity
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
- Living within a commutable distance (ideally under 30 minutes).
- A drivers licence is preferred but not essential
Training Information
Training will be with Swarm Training a national apprenticeship provider in the UK. The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification which takes 12-18 months to complete. The apprentice must complete a minimum of 6 hours per week during working hours with monthly training sessions conducted by a tutor with tasks assigned to be completed during those hours.
