RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Qubec - Sant (FRQS).
Position summary
The Training and Learning Solutions Advisor will oversee day-to-day operations related to the planning development implementation and evaluation of training programs at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre. The Advisor will also act as a facilitator leading a group of training champions within The Institute.
Key responsibilities include managing the Learning Management System (LMS) maintaining and updating existing training content in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) developing onboarding programs and contributing to the development of new courses. The Advisor will also be responsible for managing internal communications related to training developing organizational strategies and facilitating institution-wide discussions on training and learning initiatives.
General Duties
Develop and publish high-quality e-learning content for a variety of audiences
Continuously improve existing training programs and materials
Create interactive instructional materials including courses curricula user guides and/or training manuals
Create and execute comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
Plan coordinate and implement the day-to-day delivery of training programs
Lead training-related discussions facilitate knowledge sharing within the training community and design training courses for trainers
Produce reports for stakeholders and directors manage applications and admissions to the training program.
Status : Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)

Pay Scale: Commensurate with education & work experience. $49722.40 - $92346.80.
Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Work Site: Remote monthly team meetings on site.
