Senior Solutions Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in the DC metro area. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability and evolution of our information systems. You will serve as a key technical leader responsible for troubleshooting complex issues assessing emerging technologies and designing innovative solutions that align with the long-term business strategy. As a senior-level consultant you will provide technical expertise and guidance to project managers and business units influencing the companys technology roadmap and ensuring the integrity of our enterprise architecture.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues within existing information systems applications middleware or networks and lead teams to resolve escalated support problems.
Provide technical expertise to manage system vulnerabilities and support problem resolution with external vendors.
Act as a technical consultant and escalation point offering guidance to project managers and business functions.
Research analyze and assess emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improving business processes and making recommendations for new products and tools.
Design innovative solutions using new technologies and recommend short-term alternatives as needed.
Provide technical analyses to define assess and monitor the technical aspects of projects and services ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
Assist in the development and analysis of source selection strategies and work with service providers to ensure their solutions are consistent with our business strategy.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience or 10 years of work experience as a subject matter expert.
Strong experience with the ITIL Framework for Incident Change Problem and Release Management.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in an integrated team environment.
Relevant engineering or professional certifications are required.
Preferred: A bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field with 8 years of experience along with certifications such as ITIL MCSE or CCNP.
