Help us help others:

The Director of Contracts and Procurement will oversee:

Contracts Management:

Single point of accountability for revenue and expense contracts. Directs

and manages an agency-wide contracts management process. Review contracts amendments

subcontracts procurement documents change orders work orders supplemental agreements time

extensions acceptance testing and consultant qualifications. Helps to maintain Contract Management

System. Maintains quality control and adherence to policies procedures laws and regulations.

Provides technical and administrative support to include answering questions providing assistance

handling complaints resolving discrepancies and addressing issues regarding contracts.

Tracks and reports on the status of contracts in process.

Tracks contract expiration dates and initiates contract renewals.

Helps to ensure the provider and vendor payments are made in a timely manner to ensure

satisfaction with Hill Country payment for services.

Procurement:

Oversee all procurement and contract development activities. Determines

appropriate procurement type to be compliant with grant management standards federal and

State of Texas regulations and Agency policies and procedures.

Assists in the development of the Agencys provider network.

Reviews and updates Agency policies and procedures as needed.

You will get to:

Maintain update and compile detailed data reports summaries files records logs and statistics

for contracting including procurement write routine and unique correspondence.

Performs other job responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Youll definitely need:

  • A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in law business or a related field.
  • Preferred: A masters degree in law business or a related field
  • Preferred: 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Preferred: 2 years in contract administration contract management or contract development
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
  • A valid Texas State Drivers License.
  • Current automobile insurance and the ability to travel
