Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary RN supporting anesthesia services in MRI ensuring safe patient care during imaging procedures.

• Assist anesthesia providers with patient preparation monitoring and post-procedure care.

• Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety in MRI and other procedural areas.

• Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately and efficiently.

• Assess document and report changes in patient conditions to the care team.

• Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures and post-care expectations.

• Float to other procedural areas (CT IR OR DHIM inpatient units) as needed to support anesthesia care.

• Work collaboratively with anesthesia providers and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana (required).

• Minimum of two (2) years RN experience in a medical setting (preferred). Experience in anesthesia procedural care or critical care is beneficial.

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory medical terminology and patient care principles.

• BLS and Healthcare Provider CPR certification (required). Additional certifications may be required based on assigned areas.

• Understanding of confidentiality laws HIPAA guidelines and patient safety protocols.

• Strong familiarity with medical equipment clinical procedures and safety regulations.

• Excellent communication critical thinking and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Shift:

Schedule: Part-Time 20 hrs/wk 10-hour Day Shifts

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
