For our Global Research Team we are looking for an ambitious Research Specialist to join our international Research Team for Energy and Utilities in Mexico City Mexico. Our team provides research support to all Roland Berger offices globally. As Research Specialist for Energy and Utilities you will support consulting teams mainly in North America with in-depth analysis and market assessments. Besides conducting information searches and analyses you will carry out short-term project tasks and support internal studies.
This position is open in our Mexico City office and requires at least three days of in-office presence.
Qualifications :
Conduct research and analysis on companies markets prices regulations infrastructure and technology in the energy and utilities sector to identify key drivers and trends
Utilizing professional databases and reports to perform information searches and analyze quantitative and qualitative data in the energy and utilities sector
Collect and analyze energy and utilities market data in the sectors of power generation energy storage renewables hydrogen oil & gas nuclear water and waste etc.
Assist in internal studies and product development
Enhance internal knowledge management
Requirements
Bachelors degree required in business economics or engineering
Minimum of three years of experience in the energy and utilities sector such as in industry auditing firms investment banks financial investors or consulting companies.
Strong understanding of international energy and utilities markets trends and requirements
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of service orientation and flexibility
Proficiency in MS Office and professional financial databases like CapIQ Moodys Bloomberg etc.;
Structured and goal-oriented working style with friendly and open communication
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish additional language are desirable
