In this senior role youll be leading multi-channel marketing efforts to deliver results and shape our companys growth strategy. You will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive attendance at retirement planning classes held at colleges and universities in the suburbs of major metropolitan areas nationwide. You are both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator with deep expertise in direct mail Facebook advertising and digital media. As the leader of a small internal marketing team you will provide clear direction set objectives foster professional development and identify and manage external partners. How youll spend your days:

• Developing and refining a comprehensive multi-channel direct response marketing plan aimed at driving enrollment in retirement planning classes
• Leading the strategy and production of direct mail campaignsfrom concept and list selection to design printing and mailing
• Managing digital lead generation initiatives including Facebook/Meta advertising paid search display and retargeting
• Establishing metrics and dashboards to track campaign performance across all channels
• Implementing a test-and-learn approach in all direct response efforts by conducting A/B tests on key variables and staying abreast of marketing innovations and tools
• Leading and mentoring a small internal marketing team to encourage a data-driven results-oriented culture
• Identifying and managing external partners by negotiating contracts and overseeing vendor work to ensure quality deliverables and alignment with strategy
• Ensuring all marketing materials and communications comply with relevant regulations for financial/retirement marketing while upholding the companys brand voice and credibility

What youll bring to the role:

• 812 years of progressive marketing experience with a strong emphasis on direct response campaigns
• Experience in financial services or retirement planning marketing
• Proven track record of developing successful direct marketing programs particularly in direct mail and digital advertising
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and ROI metrics
• Advanced Excel skills or BI tool experience
• Demonstrated success in leading a marketing team and managing cross-functional projects
• Experience coordinating external vendors or agencies
• High-level strategic planning and hands-on execution combined with attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsstrong presentation skills are a plus!
• Proficiency with marketing tech and tools such as CRM databases email marketing platforms digital ad platforms (Facebook/Meta Google) and web analytics (Google Analytics)
