Job Description
Hours: Working 30 hours per week on a rotating schedule alternating every two weeks between 7:00 AM-1:00 PM and 9:00 AM-3:00 PM shifts.

How You Will Make an Impact
The incumbents will be on a rotating schedule on a two (2)-week basis working in both our donation and grocery programs. Working as a team the incumbents will oversee both programs.
Donation Program
- Monday to Friday - 9am to 3pm
- The incumbent will be responsible with the opening and closing of the donation program.
- Receiving donations from donors in a respectful and professional manner.
- Organizing and sorting the donations according to the assigned process.
Grocery Program
- Monday to Friday 7am to 1pm.
- Key Holder - Responsible for the 7am opening of the Centre.
- Working as a member of the morning opening crew the incumbent will be responsible for the oversight of ensuring that the Marketplace pantry fridges and freezers are fully stocked in preparation for a 9am opening to the public.
What Youll Bring to Our Team
Donation Program
- Working as a contributing member of a team of staff students and volunteers is required.
- Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety best practice.
- Previous employment or volunteer experience in the social service/Charitable industry would be an asset.
Grocery Program
- Previous experience in the Social Service/Charitable industry would be an asset.
- Previous experience in the retail grocery industry would be an asset.
- Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety and food safety or willingness to learn would be an asset.
- Using best practice in the safe handling stocking and movement of packaged grocery products is required
- Ability to safely work a manual and electric pump cart is required.
- Licensed use of a forklift or willingness to be licensed would be an asset.
