The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Technician to join the Production Team based in Townsville. Made in Australia since 1921 Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.

Based in Townsville our Technicians are at the heart of our operations playing a key role in creating innovative solutions for our customers. Based in Townsville youll work with cuttingedge machinery ensuring the highest quality standards while prioritizing safetyfor both yourself and the team.  Purlin mill experience would be highly favourable in this opportunity.  This is an afternoon shift role working 2:00pm 10:00pm (MonThu) 2:00pm 6:00pm (Fri)

What Will You Do

In this dynamic role no two days are the same! Youll be making a direct impact on the safety and quality of our products. Your tasks will include:

• Operating forklifts gantry cranes and processing machinery.
• Safely preloading and unloading products to and from trucks.
• Packing and strapping steel products onsite to meet specific customer orders.
• Supporting the team with various general tasks as needed.
