Job Description

We are seeking an experienced resultsoriented Sr. Supply Chain Manager for the Home Improvement business who will thrive at solving complex supply chain and inventory management challenges.

The Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing inventory sourcing strategies improving costtoserve and endtoend business ownership of all supply chain processes from manufacturer to consumer. They will use data to influence others invent and build scalable systems & processes. They will play a critical role in delivering the optimal customer experience by ensuring we have the right product in the right places at the right time. Supply Chain Managers work to continuously optimize Amazons supply chain by engaging with vendors to improve operational metrics and drive system and process automation with internal teams.

Successful candidates will have exceptional data extraction and analytical capabilities as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. They will have strong business judgement good instincts and the ability to think forward. They are able to selfmanage competing priorities and drive both strategic and tactical activities in parallel. They will be able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customercentric philosophy.

Key job responsibilities
Manage inputs that impact the customer experience while reducing costs and removing waste in the supply chain.
Define the operational strategy and contribute to the business growth and operations planning process for select vendors.
Adopt and tailor supply chain best practices to meet category and vendor needs.
Engage with strategic vendors to focus on improving operational supply chain performance.

5 years of with Excel experience
Experience working with complex data sets
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Bachelors degree

Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
Experience with SQL
Masters Degree or MBA in relevant fields

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
