LUNCHROOM WORKER
QUALIFICATIONS:
Background Check Required: (HB 402 ACT 99361 Alabama Legislature) Upon offer of employment employees will be required to submit legible fingerprints for a background review by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

JOB GOAL: To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency cleanliness and friendliness.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Significant lifting carrying pushing and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping kneeling crouching and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity are required to perform the job functions. Generally the job requires 5% sitting 50% walking and 45% standing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to compare analyze communicate coordinate instruct compute synthesize evaluate use interpersonal skills and compile. Occasionally required to copy and negotiate.
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The environmental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and functions of the job and are not meant to be all inclusive. (a)The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness. (b)Exposure to a variety of childhood and adult diseases and illnesses. (c) Occasional exposure to a variety of weather conditions. (d) Exposure to heated/air conditioned and ventilated facilities. (e) Exposure to a building in which a variety of chemical substances are used for cleaning instruction and/or operation of equipment. (g) Function in a workplace that can be noisy at times.
EMPLOYMENT: This is a 184day position (9 month). Salary range is based on the board approved salary schedule. The working hours range from 6 6.5 7 7.5 8 hours per day.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation of Support Personnel.
