Reporting to the Warehouse manager the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations regarding receipt and inventory/material control. The Warehouse Assistant is receiving or preparing materials to process internal work orders. The position holder performs a wide variety of planning scheduling coordination and reporting tasks to support production workflow. This role also coordinates and monitors workflow assists in planning and prioritizing activities in the assigned distribution area.
This position is part of our Operations Team located in Sterling VA and will be onsite.
In this role a typical day will look like:
Prepare and pick work orders for the production plant or pickup for customers on schedule;
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick unload label store).
Complete cycle counts
Monitoring and maintaining accuracy of data entered in our ERP system
Align and communicate with stakeholders such as but not limited to: Procurement Production Planning as well as Logistics service providers
The essential requirements of the job include:
Proven work experience as a warehouse employee or a similar role in the logistics department
Certifications and/or working knowledge of shipping and receiving equipment suck as but not limited to forklifts both manual and electric pallet jacks tape measures tap guns tap dispensers and scanners
Ability to lift heavy objects;
Good communication skills.
Basic Knowledge in Microsoft Office product

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $25.00 $28.90 USD per hour.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
