Job Description

Experience in an alternative education setting is desired. Candidates must also have a thorough understanding of academic standards and individualization to meet rigorous standards. Performance Responsibilities: a caseload of students (regular ed. and 504) for counseling and academic support. brief interventions to help students feel emotionally and physically ready to with families/teachers/administrators/community to foster student success and for students and their families education experience and skill building to encourage students personal in the development of highquality transition plans and postsecondary opportunities for every meaningful outdoor experiences and adventurebased activities to support students in overcoming emotional psychological and behavioral studentcentered services such as SEL tutoring and communitybased and maintain community partnerships with local organizations to bolster opportunities for authentic learning and the ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors to help nurture the knowledge skills and attitudes that students need to achieve academic success college and career readiness and social/emotional meaningful connections with students based on respect kindness and genuine with staff on issues of diversity equity and inclusion throughout the be willing to be flexible with each day as programming can shift rapidly and counselors need to be ready to support students and staff alike
