About The Firm
Clayton Utz is a leading Australian commercial law firm offering tier 1 legal and consulting services for global and domestic clients across a broad range of sectors.
The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our Business intelligence team based in Sydney. This is a fulltime 12 month parental cover contract.
As part of our broader Business Finance function the Business Intelligence team is responsible for designing and implementing technical financial solutions to support and enhance the firms FP&A capabilities.
Using your IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 and financial modelling expertise as a Business Intelligence Developer you will develop reporting planning forecasting and allocation models. Collaborating with Finance teams you will create customized TM1 models UIs and create dashboards using application such as Cognos Analytics and Power BI for firmwide use.
Required Skills & Experience
Extensive experience in TM1/Planning Analytics: solution architecting model building UI development and system configuration;
Expertise in TM1 skills: TI processes Rules MDX and UI/UX design with PAW and PAfE;
Advanced MS Excel skills;
Strong background in data modelling data transformation SQL and data warehousing;
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Computer Science Finance Accounting Engineering Mathematics etc);
Developed reports using either or similar reporting platforms such as: IBM Cognos Analytics Power BI Tableau (23 years);
CA / CPA qualification.
Desirable Skills
Consulting experience;
Developed Reports in IBM Cognos Analytics or Power BI;
Has worked in the Legal or Accounting professional services organisations.
