Engineering/CAD Technician Dallas TX
Westwood Professional Services Inc.
Westwood Professional Services Inc.is seekinga CAD Technician to join our Land Development team. Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer (unless already licensed) performs design and comprehensive project management for numerous engineering projects of low to medium complexity while effectively leading and promoting a limited number of assigned technical personnel. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing highlevel professional services to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create edit and modify CAD drawings
- Apply Westwood Company CAD standard practices and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings
- Collaborate in a team environment
- Coordinate filing storage and retrieval of drawings and documents
- Work with extreme precision and accuracy in creating design drawings
- Plot and check drawings
- Willing to take on other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification in AutoCAD
- Experience and knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD
- Design skills and knowledge
- Possess basic mathematical skills and analytical abilities
- Attention to detail selfmotivated and a Team player
- Working Knowledge in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam
- Willingness to learn and grow is a must
Required Experience
- Associate Degree
- Experience AutoCAD Civil 3D
- 15 Years of Industry Experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with additional applications (InfraWorks SITEOPS BIM Revit AutoTurn AutoDesk 360 etc..)
