About the role:
At Maersk were transforming global logisticsand finance is at the heart of that transformation. We are looking for aSite Financial Controllerto join our GSC Poland Branch and play a pivotal role in driving financial accuracy compliance and strategic insight across our operations.
What Youll Be Responsible For:
- Financial Leadership:Own the accuracy and timeliness of financial accounting reporting and compliance for the GSC Poland Branch.
- Performance Management:Ensure precise tracking of SG&A costs GP and EBIT performance providing actionable insights to regional and area finance teams.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:Lead the sites budgeting and rolling forecast (ROFO) processes in collaboration with FP&A regional offices and business stakeholders.
- Business Partnering:Act as a trusted advisor to Site Leadership delivering monthly financial reviews variance analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Compliance & Controls:Manage endtoend compliance activities including statutory tax audit and regulatory requirementsensuring full alignment with Maersks Control Framework.
- MonthEnd Excellence:Drive accurate and timely monthend close including review of P&L balance sheet reconciliations accruals and vendor transactions.
- Audit Readiness:Lead internal and external audit processes ensuring adherence to best practices and operational procedures.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration:Work across geographies and GSCs to drive standardization value creation and financial transparency.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in financial controlling accounting or FP&Apreferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS Polish GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive solutionoriented mindset.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English; Polish language skills are a plus.
