What You’ll Do:
Provide direct instruction and behavioral support in a selfcontained special education classroom
Develop IEP goals monitor progress and lead annual and triennial review meetings
Create differentiated lesson plans and adapt materials to meet a wide range of needs
Implement classroom structures that support both academic and emotional regulation
Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals related service providers and general education staff
Communicate regularly with families and caregivers as part of a consistent support system
Maintain documentation and reporting in alignment with special education compliance standards
What You’ll Need:
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs
Experience supporting students with autism multiple disabilities or emotional disturbance
Strong behavior management and classroom organization skills
Comfort working with paraprofessionals and leading a teambased classroom model
Familiarity with IEP systems and documentation requirements
Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation to the assigned school site
