Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Zoho you will play a critical role in driving new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to potential clients. You will identify qualify and nurture leads through outbound prospecting via calls emails and social selling. This is an exciting opportunity for a resultsdriven individual passionate about technology and eager to build a career in SaaS sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting (cold calls emails LinkedIn outreach) to generate new business opportunities.

  • Identify and research prospective SMB midmarket and enterprise clients.

  • Qualify leads based on budget authority need and timeline (BANT framework).

  • Schedule discovery calls and product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.

  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach and lead interactions in Zoho CRM.

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.

  • Stay updated on Zoho s product offerings industry trends and competitive landscape.

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly lead generation and pipeline targets.



Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in outbound sales or lead generation preferably in SaaS or B2B tech
  • Excellent communication persuasion and negotiation skills (verbal & written)
  • Selfmotivated resilient and comfortable with highvolume outbound prospecting
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales engagement tools.
  • Selfmotivated coachable and able to thrive in a fastpaced hybrid environment
  • Bachelor s degree or relevant experience in business marketing or a related field
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and position Zoho s solutions effectively.
  • Techsavvy with an interest in SaaS cloud software digital transformation and AI.

Requirements 3-6 years of experience in solution consulting or a similar role, within the SaaS industry specializing in CRM or customer experience products. Proven track record of successful solution delivery to enterprise clients. Strong understanding in SaaS industry especially working on products including but not limited to CRM, Helpdesk software, its implementation, and its impact on customer engagement and business processes. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a client-focused environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to addressing client needs. Fluency in English and French is mandatory for this role Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences, and lead engagements.
