Job Description
KXAN is seeking a lifestyle show producer/host for a 1 hour weekday show. Your primary role will be to produce/lineproduce the daily 1 hour show as well as host a daily video podcast. Your secondary role will be as fill in host for the daily 1 hour show.

Primary Job Description
Produce/LineProduce weekday 1 hour lifestyle show along with additional shows and/or segments that may air outside the programs regular weekday schedule
- Create rundowns in ENPS and share them with the team
- Booth and time the live show via ENPS
- Post segments/stories on lifestyle show social media and web page
- Collaborate with lifestyle show host editor and sales department to write and approve scripts
- Researching show topics and developing questions for guests
- Attending daily show meeting
- Maintaining a show social media account and assist with all online content
- Book and host daily video podcast using OBS system
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Additional Job Description
- Fill in as host for 1 hour live show
- Interviewing show guests/clients both in studio and on location
- Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations
- Participating in events either stationsponsored or others to promote the show
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in film photography television news or related field or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Experience as a host or onair personality preferred
- Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines
- Must be energetic positive and great in a team environment
- Must be highly motivated selfstarter able to work well alone and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Entry level position willing to train
