- Completed a Masters Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / or equivalent qualification
- 10 years of Senior Management experience in lieu of a Masters qualification
- Lesotho Citizen
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience in an FMCG environment
- Valid code 8 drivers license unendorsed
Responsibilities:
Sales Team Management
- Manage the goals for the allocated sales team to deliver and exceed targeted growth profit and margin:
- Business targets achieved
- Team goals and KPIs flow into agreed individual goals and KPIs
- Achievement of volume profit market execution customer service
- Actively monitor team understanding of policies procedures guidelines and goals; take relevant actions to improve knowledge
- Provide continual feedback to team members on progress towards targets
- Regularly monitor work performance to ensure targets are achieved
- Adhere to SHERQ policies and procedures; actively pursue compliance
Trade Investment Management
- Formulate monitor and control investment in trade and trade expenses to ensure channel profitability:
- Continuously drive efficiency and productivity in channels
- Ongoing management of investments and costs
- Review investments and costs monthly; provide feedback to the team
- Acquire special approval for extraordinary costs as per guidelines
- Analyze variances within planned investments and costs; address problem areas and take corrective action
Company Asset Management
- Manage company assets:
- Execute allocation operation return on investment and nonconformance activities according to Company standards and regulations
- Manage maintain and verify coolers vehicles and equipment on schedule to ensure optimal functioning and minimize losses
- Manage company vehicle image usage and abuse in line with company policy; action nonconformance by team members
Team Management
- Manage team performance goals in support of Company goals channel business plan and team contextual issues:
- Complete and capture career discussions and individual development plans in compliance with the process
- Appropriately execute agreedupon individual development plans; take corrective action for outofline situations
- Treat team members in accordance with Company code of conduct values and ethics
- Encourage team members to make decisions and solve workrelated problems
- Continuously motivate and encourage sales team members to achieve and exceed targets
- Conduct onthejob coaching regularly to identify and correct performance gaps
