Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in North Northamptonshire to assist with the appointment of a Repairs Officer on a 5month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 19.85 25.24 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of tenants and employees
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service
- Responsible for managing employee performance and development
- Responsible for managing and coordinating the work of employees/trades
- Responsible for managing and maintaining physical resources such as buildings and equipment
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs A C grade including Mathematics and English or equivalent experience in a housing social policy or a related work area
Knowledge and Experience:
- Requires a combination of technical knowledge construction and compliance
- Knowledge of social housing regulations policies and procedures
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance practices
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience of working in a Local Authority or Housing Association environment.
Essential Criteria:
- A Full and Clean Driving Licence including the PCV element
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires a Basic DBS
