Job Description
Position Description:
Minimum 12 years of experience in data engineering including mandatory experience in onpremises bigdata architecture and deployment.
At least 5 years of experience in machine learning including full lifecycle ML model deployment in hybrid (onprem/cloud) environments.
Proven expertise in building data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark PySpark HDFS Kafka and programming in Scala or Python.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (S3 Glue Lambda EC2 SageMaker) or Azure (Synapse ADF HDInsight) with onprem integration as a core responsibility.
Proficiency with ML frameworks: Scikitlearn TensorFlow Keras PyTorch BERT XGBoost LightGBM.
Strong background in ETL development and realtime data processing. Experience with Databricks and Snowflake is an added advantage.
Deep knowledge of MLOps model drift versioning and containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes both in onprem and cloud environments.
Solid understanding of data governance compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services.
Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing global teams and offshore delivery in a fastpaced Agile environment.
Tools experience: Jira Git Jenkins Terraform; experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Other Requirements
Masters degree in AI/ML Data Science or a related technical discipline. Relevant cloud or data engineering certifications preferred.
Passion for continuous learning and mentoring teams in AI/ML and engineering best practices.
Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with a strong focus on onprem systems; availability to support global operations and adjust to offshore working hours as needed.
Proven ability to lead highimpact AI/ML initiatives and cultivate an innovationdriven collaborative team culture.
Experience in establishing or contributing to a Center of Excellence (CoE) in AI/Data Engineering domains.
