Transformation Driving Change and Innovation
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Wiltshire Council for an Insight Analyst to join our Data & Insight team in the Transformation Directorate.
The Data & Insight team works collaboratively with Council services and external partners to improve confidence in data and embed a culture of datadriven decision making. Our team provide a focal point from which we build and explore our data culture behaviour and capabilities for Wiltshire Council.
To us data is the nervous system of the council and the second most important asset we have behind our people. We are committed to providing a reliable innovative and usercentric data capability for all; encouraging a culture of evidencebased decision making to deliver the best outcomes for our citizens. In D&I we are encouraged to think differently challenge convention and be unafraid to make mistakes. Were creative collaborative and ambitious. But most of all were hugely passionate about what we do.
The Insight Analyst is a key member of the team that delivers business insight across the Council working from D&I and collaborating with the service area expert spokes and other members across our data will also have strong communication skills and the ability to confidently collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation.
The successful applicant will apply specialist analytical and visualisation skills and experience to work with all types of data to deliver across all business areas. Were looking for a creative and confident analyst that has experience of using Power BI to tell great data stories. An interest in spatial analysis or data science would also align with our great training opportunities.
