Overview
Play a pivotal finance role focused on sales reporting marketing cost control inventory and waste management across hypermarket stores. Collaborate closely with Commercial and Trading Directors to ensure financial accuracy efficiency and compliance while leading continuous improvements in reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Cost Management
- Oversee and validate all store-level sales reports for accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and optimize marketing spend inventory levels and waste to meet budgeted KPIs
- Ensure compliance with the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act
Reporting Innovation
- Lead enhancements to business insights and reporting platforms especially Power BI
- Manage BIC report submissions to Thailand HQ
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Contribute to annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts
- Analyze financial variances and key performance trends
Commercial Support
- Conduct end-to-end financial evaluations to inform major commercial decisions
- Assess ROI and effectiveness of promotional initiatives
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide Senior Business Analysts and Business Analysts
- Cultivate a high-performance team culture
Financial Operations & Governance
- Support month-end closing for sales gross margin marketing costs and waste
- Uphold internal controls and corporate governance standards
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and business case development
Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting; professional certification preferred (e.g. MIA MICPA ICAEW ACCA CIMA)
- Minimum 5 years experience in Commercial Finance or equivalent
- Proficient in SQL Power BI and Power Query
- Strong analytical communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Advanced Excel capabilities and tech-savvy mindset
- Proven leadership experience in team management
- Background in FMCG MNC or retail sectors is an advantage
