You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented EBilling Clerk to join our Finance team. This role provides essential support to the EBilling Administrator and Specialists by assisting with invoice audits maintaining accurate billing data generating routine and ad hoc reports and facilitating the resubmission of invoices through firm platforms
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist EBilling Administrator and EBilling Specialist(s) by performing basic analyses and audits of ebilled invoices.
Populate and maintain data related to ebilling clients matters and invoices for tracking purposes.
Run reports regularly and on an ad hoc basis regarding the status of ebilled invoices.
Follow up on ebilled invoices to verify status has not changed on electronic billing sites.
Collaborate with team members on the resubmission of invoices via EbillingHub and other electronic billing platforms.
Maintain accrual calendar and tracking to ensure prompt and timely submission.
Candidate should be able to selfdirect prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision and with Individuals at all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills organizational skills attention to detail and the willingness to work as part of a team are highly desired.
Ensure that client needs are met while adhering to firm policy.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
BA/BS degree or related experience previous work experience in legal services or finance is a plus.
Basic understanding of ebilling processes and systems is a plus.
Knowledge of effective legal billing procedures and of computerized legal billing systems (Aderant Expert) and electronic billing platforms (Legal Tracker CounselLink etc.) is a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office.
Strong typing/keyboard skills and able to use a 10key calculator by touch.
Ability to selfdirect prioritize tasks and work with minimum supervision and with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills organizational skills and attention to detail.
A willingness to work as part of a team is highly desired.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
