Position Summary:
The Airspace Manager will plan deconflict and manage airspace for livefire and vulnerabilityperiod events liaising with FAA and DOD facilities to ensure safe efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process CAS 1972 requests and develop MOA/ROZ plans.
Monitor and adjust ROZ status in real time.
Provide airspacefamiliarization briefs to exercise participants.
Liaise with FAA and DOD ATC agencies for airspace approvals.
Maintain gridreference documentation (MGRS/GARS).
Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance.
26 weeks of ATC experience or 3 years as AWACS ABM/CRC operator.
Proficiency with MGRS and military grid systems.
Excellent coordination and briefing skills.
