Job Description

To: All Paraprofessionals Brockton Public Schools From:Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Subject: Support Staff for Brockton High School Graduation for Students with Disabilities Brockton Public Schools is seeking support staff for students attending the Brockton High School Graduation. Qualifications: Experience working with students with disabilities at the high school level especially in a social or event setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly to various situations and provide appropriate support. Patience flexibility and problemsolving skills Responsibilities: Assist students with mobility or other physical needs ensuring their safety during the event. Provide guidance and support as needed for students with sensory communication or behavioral needs. Facilitate inclusion and promote social engagement among students. Graduation Hours:8:30 a.m. to 1:30 Date: Saturday June 7 2025 (Rain date Sunday June 8 2025)Professional Dress RequiredAttendance at pregraduation meeting required (date/time TBA)Funding Source:Special EducationCompensation:Contractual Hourly Rate
