Summary: The Childrens Surgery Program Coordinator will provide support and guidance to applicant centers reviewers and program staff regarding all aspects of the verification process for the Childrens Surgery Verification Program. Responsibilities include interacting with customers reviewer volunteers program leadership and inhouse staff through verbal and written communications to guide applicant centers through every step of the application process; from initial application to full verification and maintenance of verification. Responsibilities will also include customer support program announcements and updates coordination of committee meetings and communication for committees.
This exempt position will report to the Childrens Surgery Program Manager in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote. *Please submit a cover letter as a writing sample*
The anticipated salary range for this position is $55000$60000 (commensurate with related experience).
Required Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least 2 years of similar or related experience in a quality improvement hospital or healthcare setting is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in the business setting are required.
- Time management and organization skills with the ability to work independently multitask set priorities and meet competing deadlines is a must.
