About this role:
Wells Fargos Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations Technology Team is seeking a Lead Specialty Software Engineer with fullstack software engineering experience developing frontend solutions that leverage OpenShift and Kubernetes Container technologies. The Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations Technology Team is responsible for delivering bestinclass platforms services and solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiencies for Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations throughout the enterprise.

This role will drive modernization and innovation with a deliberate focus on enabling and delivering cloudnative solutions.
In this role you will:
Provide technical knowledge around engineering frontend solutions while leveraging domain driven design principles and development driven testing.
Lead and drive others across the team to effectively deliver and transform the way solutions are delivered across the enterprise. The team effectively partners with business stakeholders and drives the requirements gathering strategy roadmap and prioritization of work to deliver next generation solutions to our business partners.
Aggressive modernization milestones and deliverables tied to the hosting strategy cloud strategy and modernization roadmap are tied to delivery.
The Lead Specialty Software Engineer must adopt and support a culture of diversity intellectual curiosity problem solving and openness.
Support complex engineering initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.
Resolve coding testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature.
Ensure solutions are engineered to increase resiliency operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk.
Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively.
Enforce the adoption and implementation of modern design principles standards and companywide best practices for engineering and implementing largescale technology solutions.
Leverage your understanding of industry best practices and new technologies to influence and lead technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost.
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts senior technology team and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.
Work in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud centric solutions.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of fullstack Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education.
5 years of experience using Angular ReactJS other Javascript frameworks.
5 years of experience in building deploying and implementing new solutions at scale using HTML CSS and related UI technologies.
2 years of experience with modern Cloud Platforms & DevOps including including AWS Azure GCP and tools such as Jenkins GitLab or Tekton
2 years of experience with REST API Java J2EE technologies.
Desired Qualifications:
Proven track record of building and deploying cloudnative services using Operator SDK and Helm charts ConfigMaps Secrets etc. and Service Mesh. Working knowledge of CloudFoundry and experience migrating apps from CloudFoundry to OpenShift/Kubernetes
The candidate should have experience in designing building and delivering cloudnative microservicesoriented solutions at an enterprise scale for large financial services or other large regulated sectors.
Experience with Financial Crimes Operations such as AML Fraud and KYC.
Cloud certified engineer.
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences.
Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multicultural environment by demonstrating coownership & accountability in a matrix structure.
Delivery focused and willingness to work in a fastpaced enterprise environment.
Experienced in implementing risk and control requirements for cloudnative solutions.
