Microfluidics International Corporation () a business unit of IDEX Corp. () designs manufactures and distributes patented and proprietary high performance Microfluidizer materials processing and formulation equipment to the biotechnology pharmaceutical chemical cosmetics/personal care and food industries. Microfluidics applies its 30 years of highpressure processing experience to produce the most uniform and smallest liquid and suspended solid particles available and has provided manufacturing systems for nanoparticle products for more than 15 years.
As a Technical Inside Sales Specialist you will be part of a team of highly trained customer service specialist and field service technicians located throughout the world. You will focus on providing bestinclass customer support by answering technical questions providing sales quotations processing orders and service contracts. You will liaise with engineering manufacturing and logistics to deliver our highquality OEM Aftermarket products to our consumers. You will also work with the Global Aftermarket Manager with our Growth Development Plan and increasing our aftermarket revenue.
We are looking for a candidate that is highly motivated with a selfstarter attitude and a genuine curiosity for how things work and a passion for solving problems. This position will have opportunities for growth specifically in strategizing aftermarket revenue.
Essential Functions
Fielding inquiries and providing responsive service support to customers and channel partners.
Preparing quotations for replacement parts and/or service requirements.
Processing customer orders into ERP system with a high level of attention to detail and providing order confirmation to customers.
Coordinating with manufacturing operations & logistics teams to execute on customer orders.
Facilitating advanced or customized requests with engineering teams to overserve key customers.
Addressing warranty claims and coordinating Return Materials Authorizations (RMAs).
Strategizing a growth development plan to increase revenue year over year.
EDUCATION
A technical postsecondary or equivalent degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
24 years of related experience with a proven customer service track record in a technical sales environment.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
Experience using ERP and CRM is an asset.
COMPETENCIES
Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings manuals etc.
Exceptional customer service abilities; able to provide friendly helpful customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication and able to work collaboratively.
Precise attention to detail and highly organized.
Resourceful and selfdirected.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Regularly works in an office setting.
Frequently required to stand sit talk and hear.
Must be able to work in front of a computer for a large portion of the day.
