Founded in 1979 Halyard has established itself as a leading marine engineering specialist designing manufacturing and distributing highperformance technical equipment for the marine and industrial markets.
Halyard is now looking to further expand its sales operation with a technically-minded sales professional looking to make a significant impact in the marine and industrial sectors. The role will suit an enthusiastic individual with proven previous experience in strategic sales and dealer networks.
This is an exciting and varied position focused on managing customer accounts in the UK and Italy and overseeing the performance of the dealer and distributor network .
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and prospect accounts across the UK and Italian leisure marine markets and UK industrial markets
- Identify business opportunities and create strategic proposals to meet customer needs
- Create strategies to successfully identify and deliver new business opportunities
- Create sales forecasts and actively work towards their delivery
- Deliver profitable sales growth
- Manage the dealer network ensuring compliance with the companys dealer accreditation
- Provide outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Develop a strong understanding of the companys products and those of the competition and how they are positioned
- Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to develop new products and services to meet the needs of clients while delivering profitable sales growth
- Represent Halyard at industry events conferences and exhibitions
- Consistently meet performance objectives and uphold company policies and values

- Computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally particularly to Italy
