Position Summary: The Support Services Trainer supports districtwide implementation ofsafety behavior and traumainformed practices under the direction and supervision of theSupport Services Training Manager. This position helps deliver The Mandt System training aswell as other district determined necessary trainings to district staff supports compliance
monitoring and assists in the development and evaluation of training materials. The trainerplays a key role in promoting safe inclusive and supportive learning environments by modelingdeescalation strategies collecting behavioral data and reinforcing traumainformedapproaches in collaboration with schoolbased teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma
Associates or Bachelors Degree in education psychology social work or related fieldpreferred
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience working in an educational or behavioral support role
Specialized Knowledge Licenses etc.:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Basic understanding of child development and traumainformed behavior strategies
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
