Job Description

As a DevelopmentOfficer you will be part of a fun supportive and inclusive team collaborating with other advancement staff to build relationships develop and implement fundraising strategies to expand support for Minnesotans supported by LSS.
In this role you will:
build and maintain a portfolio of approximately 150 Advanced Annual donors ($1000$5000) and prospects with a majority of donors living in Minnesota
connect with community members via phone in person and virtual visits mailings writing cards and email communication
build authentic relationships with donors and center our work around the community we serve
work with a team committed to building a community aligned with the values of LSS
receive on the job training

Job Requirements:
No previous fundraising experience necessary.
Bachelors degree or equivalent degree/experience preferred.
Effective communication and listening skills.
Strong planning and strategic thinking skills.
Interested in building relationships in the community.
Ability to assess situations quickly and adjust strategies accordingly.
Proven familiarity with local and surrounding community resources.
Drivers license required.
