Dutch Wonderland Director of InPark Revenue
Roles & Responsibilities:

Supervisory Duties:
Manage and lead all aspects of the Revenue F&B Retail and Rentals teams along with any other assigned business units
Responsible for leading a team of 2 fulltime managers and 250 seasonal employees
Lead by example attitude and as a representation of Dutch Wonderlands core values
Act as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team members
Manage and control all financial aspects of assigned departments while maximizing revenue and cost savings opportunities; maintain constant vigilance over departmental spending and budgets
Act as a strategic visionary to implement measures that will favorably impact process people and/or profit
Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices policies and procedures to create a safe and productive environment for colleagues and guests.
Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all EMT positions and backfill these positions when needed
Participate in all aspects of supervision of assigned employees including hiring orientation training performance coaching and discipline.
Ensure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with PA law
Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activities
Departmental Duties:
Oversee all functions related to the safe and effective operation of the F&B and Retail departments
Implement strategies to grow revenue per caps and profitability for the inpark spending departments.
Develop and manage labor budgets to effectively maximize the bottom line with revenuebased operations.
Propose process improvements to maximize efficiencies and improve the workflow for revenuegenerating departments.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and food safety regulations and procedures; ensure Food Service facilities are clean and operating at maximum efficiency
Work with the maintenance department to ensure equipment and food services facilities are professionally maintained and downtime is minimized.
Create product requisitions and manage inventory
Ensure all Food Services employees are aware of and adhere to all guest service standards and principles
Maintain F&B presentation standards at all Food Service facilities
Execute all food inventory policies and procedures with a focus on controlling costs and managing waste
Ensure continued compliance with local Health Department sanitation guidelines and codes
Assist in executing seasonal setup and layout of retail locations and ensure that all visual displays are clean presentable in good working order and in proper positioning /composition to drive store sales
Address customer concerns and provide customer service recovery plans
Facilitate communication operational readiness and overall guest service to the entire facility
Be an active participant on park teams including the ManageronDuty program
All other duties as assigned by leadership
Education and Experience:
High School diploma GED or equivalent; Equivalent work experience will also be considered
Bachelors degree in Business Management Hospitality or related discipline; Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
57 years of progressive leadership experience in a multiunit hospitality or operations (or another comparable fastpaced environment) is required.
Previous work experience in retail restaurant or food service is highly desired
Previous experience with food codes is essential; Understanding current food and retail trends is also plus.
Previous work experience with merchandising and retail management is a plus.
Must become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or become so within 90 days of hire when required by state and local guidelines.
Language: Ability to read write and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with PA Child Labor Laws
Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
Ability to frequently work hours that extend beyond 9 AM to 5 PM during the operating season
Must possess a valid drivers license and a good driving record
Ability to occasionally travel (up to 10%) to food & retail shows/exhibits or other park locations
Indepth knowledge of the Amusement park industry with focus on food service and retail trends highly desired
Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems desired
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint; Workday experience a plus
Ability to professionally handle highpressure situations meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to focus on budgets and cost management
Ability to think creatively while maintaining accordance with business constraints.
Ability to address multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced environment
Must possess excellent customer service skills and an ability to resolve a wide variety of questions problems issues and concerns
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand walk stoop twist kneel bend squat or reach above shoulders
Ability to remain on feet for majority of the workday
Ability to remain sedentary for extended periods of time while using a computer
Ability to carry push pull lift and hold objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
Ability to withstand heat and humidity in the various food stands and restaurants
Working Conditions:
This role will be based in both an office setting as well as outdoor Park environments including F&B and retail areas
Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities
Occasional travel to local or distant parks may be required
Exposure to the variable outside and inside temperatures including high heat cold humidity dust rain and other weather conditions
Fastpaced environment with constantly shifting priorities and challenges
