You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur client is seeking a Strategic Business Analyst (SBA) to join the Business Strategic Service team for a 1 year contract role in Lawrenceville GA. The position is a contract position to assist in initiative discovery research analysis creation of technology solicitations such as Request for Proposals (RFPs). This position will report directly to the Division Director of Business Strategic Services (BSS) which is a division within the Client.
Skills:
Bachelor s degree in computer science business administration or related field.
Jobrelated work experience at or for technology or government solutions providers or customers.
Three years working at a public agency or with government customers.
Five years conducting technology research and analysis.
Eight years facilitating and producing business requirements.
Five year of working experience authoring technology solicitation content such as RFPs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Capable of translating complex technical issues into clear executive level statuses.
Proven ability to present to senior leadership.
Ability to create compelling presentations and reports.
Experience facilitating requirements gathering of businesslevel requirements.
Proficient in MS Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint.).
Experience in Visio MS Project and SharePoint preferred.
Must be a critical thinker with strong problemsolving skills.
Strong management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal and collaborative skills with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Experience:
ITIL and Business Analysis certifications in requirements gathering.
Research & Analytics Experience.
Working knowledge of how to generate graphics analytics and other dashboard and performance tracking visualizations.
Experience facilitating process improvement engagements.
Experience creating and explaining business architecture and swim lane diagrams.
Experience facilitating customerfacing requirement gathering and/or journey mapping.
Lead consulting experience with a large consulting firm a plus.
Experience with Power BI
Experience with Power Automate o Financial analysis
This job requires a public safety background check to include motor vehicle histories criminal histories and fingerprinting.
Responsibilities:
Lead requirements gathering sessions with a diverse set of stakeholders to generate detailed solicitation requirements and content.
Facilitate business requirements gathering and author the artifacts from that effort such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Perform assigned primary and secondary research in support of business cases technology research and other Business Relationship Management deliverables.
Ensure new technologies are wellresearch so the business can optimize achieve goals.
Create reports dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance.
Create technology inventories business architectures process Swim Lanes (as is and future state) and technology comparisons.
Assist in the development and maintenance of outcome and activity dashboards.
Assist BRMs in creation of project handoff documentation to Office of Strategic Excellence Finance and Project Management Office.
Author business cases in support of new technology that includes financial analysis.
Facilitate customer journey mapping sessions with customer departments.
Describe and validate solutions that meet business needs goals and objects.
Demonstrate and leverage familiarity with financial analysis and budgeting concepts to produce necessary artifacts
