The pay range for this position $20.76/hour $24.00/hour based on experience and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denvers 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits.
This is an oncall position which means it is a parttime hourly role. Oncall positions may have variable schedules. Typically this position will work between the hours of 12:00pm 8:00pm Monday through Friday depending on business need. This position can also expect to work a variable schedule that will include evenings and weekends as needed. Oncall positions work no more than 39 hours per week.
In this position you can expect to work onsite at the Bible House (2080 York Street Denver) and at various recreation centers and parks across Denver as needed.

The City and County of Denvers Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is currently seeking an adept and accomplished administrative professional to join this team as Administrative Support Assistant supporting centralized operations for the CityWide Sports office and DPRs network of facilities.
As an Administrative Support Assistant supporting CityWide Sports you will:
Promote and demonstrate a high level of customer service by listening and responding to customer feedback in a timely and courteous manner through phone email and inperson interactions
Collaborate with the Senior Recreation Supervisor and Program Administrator to identify and address administrative needs for the CityWide Sports Program Area
Manage a highvolume email inbox to answer and dispatch communications to the appropriate individual or team
Assist with CityWide Sports program registration and address registration requests from customers as needed
Organize inventory track assets and purchase supplies and equipment for programs across Denver
Support league operations at various recreation centers and parks across Denver
Maintain records of employee certifications while proactively planning recertification opportunities for internal staff members
Contact coaching candidates to discuss employment opportunities training registration and placement
Travel between deliver supplies to and provide administrative support at recreation center or parks as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Additionally our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience skills and characteristics:
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills including experience addressing customer communications via email phone and inperson
Excellent organizational skills
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs
Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of clerical experience.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.
Licensure/Certifications: Requires a valid Drivers License at the time of application. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
