Job Description

Job Title: Lead Manufacturing Engineer (SPC)

Job Location: Camden AR

Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hours per day 4 days a week

Job Description:

Manufacturing Engineer (SPC) responsible for implementing SPC including automated chart generation from data collected by Delmia. Work is guided by individual annual goals and objectives with minimal oversight or direction. Frequently responsible for providing guidance coaching and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise. Frequently responsible for managing large complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization involving large crossfunctional teams. Develops manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. Actively participates with engineering project teams in order to coordinate the release of new products. Estimates and tracks manufacturing costs determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and indepth knowledge of project management.
  • Manages large complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
  • Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices processes and approaches.
  • Makes significant improvements in processes systems or products.
  • Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
  • Works to achieve operational targets with direct impact on the departmental
  • Investigates and determines root causes of problems develops and implements corrective and preventive actions.
  • Contributes to the development of goals for the department and planning efforts (budgets operational plans etc.).Recommend 810 bullet points maximum.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant Manufacturing Engineer Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related Manufacturing Engineer lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related Manufactuirng Engineer experience.

Perferred Additional Skills:

  • Computer skills sufficient to generate reports and analyze data using MS Excel MS PowerPoint and Minitab.
  • Experience with Delmia application.
