Job Description

This role:

  • Serves as the primary legal advisor on compliance matters related to government business with a focus on supporting Jabils role as a subcontractor to prime contractors and enabling direct federal contracting and grant activities.

  • Provides guidance on flowdown requirements FAR/DFARS clauses supplier due diligence and procurement with integrity rules.

  • Supports business teams in evaluating solicitations preparing proposals and managing award terms for both contracts and grants including compliance with grant conditions and post award obligations.

  • Oversees legal aspects of export controls and security requirements involving Jabils defense and aerospace business including coordination with internal security functions.

  • Leads the development implementing and auditing of internal controls supplier management protocols and training programs to ensure endtoend compliance across the government business lifecycle.

  • Manages development and closure of corrective actions and process improvement tasks.

  • Facilitates Global Trade compliance reviews across the companys international subsidiaries and joint ventures.

  • Monitors and addresses proposed and implemented changes in law that will impact business operations and/or compliance programs.
