The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be overseeing and providing maintenance upkeep and daily handson working knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems to support existing business processes for Chart Inc by managing a team of maintenance technicians and leads.
What Will You Do
- Provide management for facilities activities including plans budgets and facilities modificationscost estimates bid sheetsand contracts for construction and acquisitions.
- Oversee the maintenance and provide daily hands on working knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems to support existing production
- Perform and assist with the daily preventative maintenance activities and assure that these tasks are performed correctly
- Directs maintenance activities. Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities of all the production equipment and the facility.
- Reviews job orders to determine work priorities. Schedules repair maintenance and installation of machines tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations
Requisitions tools equipment and supplies required for operations.
Establishes and updates preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
Supervises Maintenance Technicians in accordance with company policies safety practices and applicable laws.
Responsible for maintaining an appropriate inventory of spare parts.
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures maximum equipment uptime.
Helps to develop the annual operating budget and has monthly tracking and reporting responsibilities.
Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.
Reviews real estate contracts for compliance with government specifications and suitability for occupancy.
Responsible for coordinating and contracting building services including security and janitorial.

Your Experience Should Be...
Basic Qualifications
Education
Associate Degree or specialized training beyond high school.
Experience
58 years of prior relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Four (4)year University Degree.
Experience
Up to five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
