Job Description
Job Title: Planning Supervisor
Supervise and manage daily planning operations for production supply chain or logistics based on business needs.
Develop implement and adjust production or delivery schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Monitor material availability manpower and machine utilization to optimize workflow.
Collaborate with procurement production warehouse and sales teams for efficient planning and execution.
Analyze capacity lead times and forecast demand to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
Generate daily weekly and monthly planning reports for senior management.
Identify bottlenecks delays and production gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain planning tools and ERP systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Lead and train junior planners or support staff in executing planning processes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Engineering Supply Chain Management Logistics or related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in planning scheduling or supply chain in a supervisory role.
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP Oracle or similar platforms).
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of production workflows capacity planning and supply chain coordination.
Proficiency in Excel planning software and ERP systems.
Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask prioritize and work under pressure.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of Lean 5S or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
