Job Description
Job Title: Network Specialist Intern
Wage/Hour Status:Nonexempt
Pay Group:Hourly
Primary Purpose:Under close supervision performs moderately complex computer systems support work to include installing configuring and supporting the Windham School District (WSD) local area network (LAN) and network computer systems. Assists in maintaining network hardware and software.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
Be enrolled in an accredited college or university with a declared major of computer science managementinformation systems or a related field.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work with computers operating systems networks and install application software.
Skills in effective communication.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
with performing computer system support and network maintenance functions.
with installation configuration and troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
3. Assist with the installation configuration and troubleshooting of LAN components such as router hubs switches and servers.
