Job Description

Glenorchy City Council is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our teams at our Moonah and Berriedale Early Education & Care Services. These rewarding opportunities are ideal for professionals who are committed to enriching the lives of children aged birth to seven years through highquality education and care.

About the Role
As an Early Childhood Educator youll play a vital role in creating engaging developmentally appropriate learning experiences while ensuring the health safety and wellbeing of every child. Youll be part of a collaborative professional team thats making a meaningful difference in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver highquality care with a strong focus on safety health and wellbeing.
  • Design and implement educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Lead and contribute to team discussions on child development using your expertise to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Build strong respectful relationships with children families and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean safe and engaging environment that supports every childs growth and development.

What Were Looking For
Were seeking individuals who are enthusiastic nurturing and ready to make an impact. To be successful you will have:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or be actively working towards one.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.
  • A collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a deep appreciation for family engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar setting.
  • A current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Child Related Activity.

Days and Position Hours are flexible: Monday to Friday with parttime hours up to 38 hours per week. There are also casual positions available.
