Responsibilities

  • The Body Shop Manager is responsible to develop business through insurance adjusters customers and other sources to assure an adequate sales volume provide a reasonable department operating profit and maintain customer satisfaction while controlling expenses
  • The Body Shop Manager directs the activities of Body Shop employees in performing body repairs meeting time schedules and productivity levels and maintaining quality standards
  • Understand keep abreast of and comply with federal state and local regulations that affect Body Shop operations such as hazardous waste disposal righttoknow and environmental updates
  • Attend managers meetings
  • Strive for teamwork with other departments
  • Hold departmental meetings periodically to discuss problem areas
  • Perform periodic reviews of employee performance

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Experienced in Auto Body Repair Estimating
  • Working knowledge of body repair methods
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and managerial skills
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record
